Product Colour & Finish

The Axes to Ashes Kitchen Axes are hand-crafted in the UK. As such, two Kitchen Axes are never the same.

The handles and base are poured from resin using natural pigments which are blended, there may be small air bubbles which are trapped during the curing process and the colours may vary slightly between batches.

Equally, if you are viewing the items using a screen with "Eye Shield" or "Eye Safe" technology (which reduces the blue light emitted) then the hue of the finished colour may vary slightly to the screen image.

  • If for some reason you're not completely happy with your Kitchen Axe; let us know within 14 days (providing proof of purchase), return it to us within 14 days, undamaged and in the original packaging for a full refund. Please note we will not refund any RETURN POSTAGE costs.

If there are signs of misuse of the item (this is NOT a throwing implement) or there is evidence of damage which contradicts our Maintenance Guide (for example the blade has been scratched from being cleaned using a scouring brush); we reserve the right to only issue a partial refund.

  • CLEAN BEFORE FIRST USE

Only clean the blade and base with warm soapy water and a soft cloth or sponge.

Ensure the blade and base are fully dry before placing the blade into the base slot.

Do NOT use bleach or corrosive cleaners. Do NOT use a scouring brush or similar abrasive implements to clean.

A blunt Kitchen Axe is more dangerous than a sharp one.

Over time the blade may become dull. Use a whetstone to maintain the blade edge at an angle of 20°

Do NOT use a sharpening stone that has been used for Carbon Steel; as this will cause your Kitchen Axe to rust.

Safety First! This is a sharp kitchen utensil and needs to be kept in a safe place away from children.
